Reading Week over, on to the second half of semester!

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog! Not going to lie, I miss typing on the blog when I am busy in my day to day life, it is a bit of a de-stressor for me. I know that I journal off line on the daily, but this is just another of my many outlets for talking about my day to day.

A quick question for all of the followers of the blog, do you ever feel like you are focusing on too many things at once? Like you want to do so many things, but then you either find yourself spread too thin, or are unable to give all of your attention to everything? I am finding that a lot lately with the things that I am passionate about; writing, reading, podcasting/YouTube/video-gaming, my school work and my spiritual studies alike. There is just a lot going on and I have been trying to experiment with different ways of organizing my time and a lot of them were effective for really all of a day or maybe a week at most…but I think I may finally have stumbled upon something!

I have as of today begun using the “Reminders” app on my iPhone 6s as a way of making these things the only reminders that I have, and I will be doing my best to do at least 30 minutes a day of each of these. I will keep you all up to speed on the progress as soon as I have tangible results, but I think lowering the bar in terms of time to spend (which was the first thing I tried where I rotated days doing each of the above) and where I also lower the bar in terms of specific goals (the thing I did most recently where I had a list of monthly goals and kept forgetting about them…) will make it easier…no goals, just do. 30 minutes a day minimum, but just do! I should find it easier and start seeing something tangible.

This has more or less been my main struggle over the last little while. I hung out all week, relaxed, and just dealt with a nasty cold that I am still trying to get over…I also have allergy testing in about 6 hours time (1130am) and I will be updating you guys on here about that tomorrow as well as in a vlog (The Angry Ranter Vlogs) so make sure you check all of that out!
