Hello everyone! Figured I would pop on over to the old blog and see how everyone was doing this week, as well as drop in some information as to what has been going on with me as this week in school is roughly half over. I believe in the previous entry I would have talked about my Monday, but today I want to talk about the craziness that was my Wednesday!
The day started off with a meeting at around noon with the Undergraduate Advisor for Philosophy and she was happy to hear my choice in upgrading my concentrations! I am now officially shooting for a Joint Double Major in Philosophy and Greek and Roman Studies (unfortunately until I have any credits locally (not just my transfer credits) I have to wait till next semester to make it official) which I am stoked for!
Second I had Latin class, which I got the first quiz back and I got a 99% on that quiz! WOOHOO! I am super stoked about that! That was awesome! I am also talking more and more with some of the students in my class and things are looking good for meeting new people!
Then I had the orientation session with the Radio Station (CKCU 93.1) where I got the opportunity to explore the entire station and of course fill out some volunteer paperwork to start the process of moving towards the training days! I am looking towards this! More to come on this in the future!
Finally, I had a meeting with the Executives of the Philosophy Society and I have joined their ranks! I am stoked for that! I cannot wait to help in growing the reach of the Department and bringing more and more people into the interest of Philosophy!
Thanks for catching up with me, talk to you in a few days and I will post a new Philosophy on Friday!
