Another of the journal entry style posts, I just want to talk a little about my first week in University. Now that we are Friday afternoon, my week is essence is over and there are a lot of positive things to say as well as a few things that are cons that I have to say about myself from the week that was.
I always like to start with the negatives and get all of that out of the way, I was a really forgetful nutbar this week. I forgot pens for the first day of class (THANK YOU INS MARKET FOR SELLING PENS) and also when having my first workout in the gym, I forgot my water bottle in my locker all the way over in Tory building when I was in the gym -_-. Today I forgot my student card at home and was unable to go to the gym today (but I will go Sunday after work) and that was a bit of a drag not gonna lie. That is really it for the negatives.
If we are now talking about the positives there are many; my locker is in one of the best and easiest to access places on campus (which is essential), I have not met a negative soul on campus as of yet, I am in love with the quaint Philosophy Lounge, i have had a great meeting with the Undergrad Adviser today to help map out my path forward (and I learnt A LOT, which I will tell you all about next week or week after in a post), I had a great first Latin class and I think I am really going to find use from the material (of which I am deciding whether or not to Minor or do a Joint Double Major) and I have (aside from the above paragraph) had a super enjoyable first week, and we can only go up from here!
Week 2 is just over the weekend horizon and you all will hear from me before then, also let me leave you with another of my Philosophical Essays on the next page!
